Choose Matter (Wi‑Fi) for easy setup with no hub and use across Google Home, Alexa, Apple Home and Home Assistant. Choose Zigbee for a low-power mesh with many devices and sensors, and strong local control in Home Assistant — it needs a bridge.

Do I need a Zigbee bridge?

Zigbee devices (ZBM5, ZBMINI, SNZB sensors) need a Zigbee bridge or coordinator — for example ZBBridge-P, NSPanel Pro, iHost, or a Zigbee USB dongle with Home Assistant. Wi‑Fi and Matter devices like the M5 do not need one. Not sure? Ask us on WhatsApp 0301-9365882.
